Sheryl P. Bordelon serves as the Client Service Associate for Capital Analysts of Jacksonville, Florida, Inc., where she has developed and maintained the firm’s reputation for almost 30 years. In her role, Sheryl helps to direct the investment focus of the entire firm as well as serves its affluent individual and corporate clients in all areas of financial planning and wealth management.
Sheryl joined Capital Analysts in 1987 and for many years created financial plans for the firm’s clients by focusing on their needs and developing a customized plan that helped fulfill their personal desires and goals. Her areas of specialty were in business planning to include business continuity, employee benefits, qualified plans and investments. In personal financial planning, Sheryl offered specialized knowledge in the areas of pre- and post-retirement planning, investment, college, estate, and charitable planning. She also serves nonprofit clients and organizations, focusing on planned giving, investment management and employee benefits.
Sheryl served on the board of Family Foundations for more than 10 years, including serving as board chair and treasurer. She is currently serving on the finance committee and participates in the annual city-wide Wi$e Money Week activities, which help the people of Jacksonville become more “money-wise” through seminars on a myriad of financial topics. She is also a dedicated member of the Financial Planning Association as well as other industry organizations.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Sheryl graduated magna cum laude with a degree in applied mathematics from Coe College in Iowa, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors fraternity. She has earned the following: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification; and Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS). Sheryl holds the FINRA Series 4, 7, 24 and 63 registrations through her affiliation with Lincoln Investment. She also is a licensed Life and Health Insurance agent.
