Christopher Gardner, CFA

Christopher Gardner serves as Chief Investment Officer for Capital Analysts of Jacksonville, Florida, Inc. In this role, Chris embraces the firm’s goal of providing unique, holistic financial solutions by creating and maintaining investment portfolios built around the needs and objectives of their clients.  He is also responsible for monitoring client investments and providing ongoing analysis and recommendations for its financial advisors, which includes conducting timely research to understand developments in today’s financial and economic environment.Chris began his career in 2008 with Fidelity Investments, where he provided investment solutions for his clients.  While with Fidelity, Chris earned the Exceptional Trader award in 2011, won the Team MVP twice in 2009, and earned the Excellence in Action award. In 2013, Chris joined the Capital Analysts team as Chief Investment Officer. Chris manages efficiencies in client accounts, makes recommendations to the firm’s advisors for client investments, and screens and monitors investment opportunities for clients.

Chris is a native of Springboro, Ohio and has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute in 2012.  He  holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 registrations through his affiliation with Lincoln Investment.
